The house of Givenchy is launching a special edition of its famous Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick. This time, the illustrious Le Rouge is delivered in a luxurious casing, which is envisioned, designed, and created in collaboration with the famous Japanese gold leaf master, Hiroto Rakusho.

The couture case is made of leather, and hand-painted with gold leaves, which makes each case completely unique. The product visuals, even though they are representative only, depict beautifully melting, shimmering colors, inspired by the old capital of Japan – Kyoto, a city in which the master of gold and sliver leaf art, Hiroto Rakusho, was born. Today, this is a gorgeous city immersed in nature, and a home to thousands of Buddhist temples, gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines, and traditional wooden houses.

Givenchy Le Rouge Kyoto Edition cases can be purchased alone, or with any Le Rouge Givenchy lipstick of your choice. The cases are available in a limited edition of 600 pieces worldwide, each individually priced at $ 330.57 or 215.00. Givenchy Le Rouge Kyoto Edition is presented in a luxurious keepsake box with a soft white pillow and Givenchy’s insignia in silver. The Givenchy Le Rouge Kyoto Edition is available for purchase at Harrods.
