goodDYEyoung Hayley Williams Launches Hair Dye Collection

Paramore's Hayley Williams has just launched her own hair care brand! The 27-year-old recently wedded lead vocalist for the rock band Paramore has announced that she is starting her own hair dye brand named goodDYEyoung. Obviously, the new venture is a reflection of Hayley’s ever-changing hairstyles, and her signature neon-colored locks.

 

"I’ve never started anything but a band… but a little over 4 years ago, I decided I’d try my hand at starting a hair dye company. I've made a lot of mistakes, learned a whole lot of cool business lingo… and realized through trial and error that dying your hair is an art AND a science. The Good Dye Young collection, which was four years in the making, is a lively hair-dye line, designed for in-home use. Hayley developed the range in collaboration with her longtime Nashville-based colorist and stylist, Brian O’Connor, and L’Oréal alum Erik Hoover, who is also a general manager for GDY brand. The range debuts with five professional-grade, semi-permanent colors, each priced at $14. The formula is fragrance-free, it is vegan and cruelty-free, and designed to nourish hair. To make things even more interesting, application instructions are express in cartoons!

Hayley Williams’s goodDYEyoung beautifully obnoxious hair color is available in:

• Rock Lobster – bright red
• Blue Rain – vivid blue
• Ex-Girl – vibrant pink
• Steal my Sunshine – yellow
• Riot – orange

The line will be pre-sold online, beginning April 15. The bricks-and-mortar distribution will, most likely, begin in 2017. Also planned are a lightening bleach, tools, and a color fader that allows for custom pastel shades.
