Gucci Baume à Levres Collection - 5 Ester Rosewood

Gucci Beauty presents a new shade 5 Ester Rosewood as it celebrates its Baume à Lèvres, a collection of moisturizing lip balms encased within a precious gold-toned bullet and lacquered turquoise tube. One of the first makeup products to be born under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, the collection is imbued with the House’s philosophy of combining the past with the present and is inspired by iconic Hollywood movies and characters from the gilded era.

Baume à Lèvres Collection – 5 Ester Rosewood

Baume à Lèvres is a lip balm with a translucent finish. Part of a modern palette, Ester Rosewood is a delicate and versatile berry rose hue that perfectly complements the collection and allows to create diverse looks – whether worn for a daily pop of color and moisture or to dress up the face for an evening out.

The Shade Range

Inspired by the made-up lips of Hollywood’s stars from the Golden Age, the names of the shades are also a nod to the era. In addition to Ester Rosewood, the wider collection includes the plum-hued Penelope Plum, No More Orchids in coral pink, and Joslyn Clair in transparent. Creating a subtle glow, the colored lip balms can be burred with a finger or cotton bud at the edges of the mouth for an even softer finish.
Reflecting the idea of unlimited self-expression at the core of Gucci Beauty, Baume à Lèvres is a  versatile tool that can be applied in many different, unexpected ways. Joslyn Clair can be used on
the eyelids or on the cheeks for a glistening sheen to highlight bone structure, while Rosewood,
Penelope Plum and No More Orchids can be layered and blended together to create new lip finishes or to create a flush of color on the apples of the cheeks.

The Formula

The Baume à Lèvres formula is both lightweight and non-stick, allowing it to glide on smoothly.
Blending into lips with a dewy just-there glow and subtle color, it enhances the natural smoothness
and texture of the lips while leaving them hydrated, soft, and comfortable.

The Design
