Integrall Testosterone: The New Masculine Approach

It happened a few weeks ago a and it was mainly about perfume, but the Esxence expo in Milan had also a section called Esxkin dedicated to cosmetics, makeup and skincare. It was a very small selection of niche brands, but there were some interesting surprises and new concepts of beauty. The first one I am showing you is Integrall, an innovative brand dedicated to masculine skincare. And it's not a gimmick or marketing blah blah. No. This one is men-only skin and hair care all in one.

All in one? Yes, Integrall is a french brand from the Laboratoires Didier Rase company, which is presenting only two products. One for the skin. One for the hair. And both promise to have all the problems covered, from anti-ageing to moisture. “Integrall is an all-in-one product with a highly sophisticated formulation, which is very simple to use. It brings together several essential actions in one product. Integrall is suitable for men and only men, in terms of its content, shape and use”, says the brand.

There is a very clear reason why this product is men-only. Testosterone. Yes, the line is based on the interaction with testosterone so, female readers, unless you wish to develop some strange hormonal imbalance, please stay away. Integrall is the world's first molecule that acts specifically on men's skin and the investigation for this product began in 1979. Integrall is a product that interacts with testosterone and the hormonal metabolism of men's skin. Didier Rase's research culminated with the discovery of a natural plant ingredient called Phyto-androzyme, which preserves the available testosterone and increases its production. Testosterone plays an important role in the maintenance of men's skin and hair and when it starts to lessen, the appearance of hair and skin gets demaged. The degradation of testosterone causes wrinkles, hair loss and hyperseborrhoea. Protecting testosterone can be a solution for these problems and the brand demonstrates this theory with a clinical study that you can access on their website.

I chatted with the staff at Integrall's booth and they explained the product, but I am still a bit skeptical. I was given a sample of the skin fluid and I can only tell that it smells soft and nice. The texture is very fluid, almost like milk, so it's easy to apply and very comfortable. It doesn't leave an oily film like some creams. But it also isn't very good for moisturizing and men with dry skin can feel that they need an extra layer or a richer lotion. I wasn't given a hair product sample but I have very strong hair so I would not see any difference unless I turned into a lyon. All in all this approach makes sense but I would still have to try a full bottle in order to see. Another thing. Since this lotion doesn't have any SPF, it is not an all-in-one product. You still would need to use a sunscreen in order to be fully prepared for the natural agressions and protect your skin from sun damage.
