KKW Beauty x Mario Dedivanovic Makeup Collection

Kim Kardashian has just revealed the details of her upcoming beauty collaboration with one of the world’s most famous makeup artists – Mario Dedivanovic!

Dedivanovic, who is best known as Kim’s long-term makeup artist and the makeup guru who helped kick off the contouring trend, is collaborating with KKW Beauty on the upcoming "KKW X Mario" makeup collection.

The highly anticipated launch, which is slated for April 5th, will be released in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their friendship. The two beauty enthusiasts first met way back in 2008, on the set of a photo shoot. The celebratory collection features a series of eye shadows and lip colors inspired by their favorite looks from over the decade.

As Kim Kardashian said on Instagram: “10 years ago when we met I never dreamed we would be launching our own products together! @makeupbymario has taught me everything I know about makeup! I’m so proud of this collection of our favorite eye shadows and lips! Stay tuned…. KKW X MARIO.”

The collection includes one nude lipstick ($20), two high shine lip glosses ($18) and an 10-pan eyeshadow palette ($45). The most eye-catching hue in the palette is a cobalt blue eyeshadow, which is actually a throwback to an incident in which Dedivanovic applied Kardashian a bright blue eyeshadow look when she wasn't paying attention: "We fight over which look we should do all the time but this blue eye reminds me to trust him."

 

A Metallic cobalt blue called Libra is a shade in our palette. @makeupbymario & I are both Libras & this shade of blue is special to us because I would fight against color & one time when I was on my phone & not paying attention he did a blue eye & I freaked out but then looked in the mirror I loved it!
