La Prairie partners with 3 complexion artists to launch Skin Caviar Essence-in-Foundation

Swiss luxury skincare brand La Prairie partners with renowned makeup artists to consult on complexion expertise for the launch of Skin Caviar Essence-in-Foundation. This is said to be the first compact foundation infused with Caviar Water. Its new application system, similar to cushion foundation format, includes an innovative airless technology that ensures a pristine dose of foundation with each use.

La Prairie has selected three leading makeup artists from three world regions – North America, Europe and Asia – to act as La Prairie Complexion Artist Ambassadors. They work closely with La Prairie to develop application techniques exclusive to Skin Caviar Essence-in-Foundation and give masterclasses on Complexion Artistry. The artists will communicate on the importance of skincare and develop bespoke makeup application rituals that begin with perfect skin and end with the perfect complexion. The artists are:

• Mai Quynh is a celebrity make-up artist based in Los Angeles who works with Hollywood’s elite, known for making skin look flawless under any light (some of her celebrity clients include Chloe Moretz, Daisy Ridley, Scarlett Johansson, Maggie Q, Kate Bosworth and Saoirse Ronan);
• Georgina Graham is a London based make-up artist who is known for working on fashion shoots and runway shows as a decidedly modern version of the golden age Hollywood, complete with pristine skin. 
• Alvin Goh from Hong Kong works with both regional celebrities and international clients like Uma Thurman, Emma Watson and Tilda Swinton, and is also a Creative Director and Fashion Stylist who had curated many exhibitions with international brands.

The Skin Caviar Essence Foundation is the first formula to blend caviar science and color artistry, alongside the brand's exclusive cellular complex and technologically advance pigments. The skin receives a natural-looking finish with build-able light-to-medium coverage. An SPF 25 provides a high level of sun protection, while PA++ guards specifically against UVA.

It comes in a refillable compact, 2 x 15 ml, from May 2018 for the price of £148.00.
