The star of this new and very original campaign by MAC is 90 years old fashion icon - Iris Apfel. At her 90’s, Iris is the fashion’s latest pop star, also known as a very successful businesswoman and a former interior designer. This young spirited fashion’s muse calls herself a "geriatric starlet" and gladly admits her lifetime obsession with dressing up.

Even the Metropolitan Museum of Art honored this amazing woman by premiering an exhibition about her fashion style. The exhibition ran in 2005 under the title Rara Avis (Rare Bird): The Irreverent Iris Apfel. This lady has already designed a range of jewelry and accessories for Yoox and now she debuts in the realm of color cosmetics, launching this line that mainly consists of mineral shadows, lipsticks and blushes.
