MAC x Angel Chen Collection

MAC Cosmetics has just announced the launch of a brand new collaboration. This time, the famous beauty brand has joined its forces with Chinese designer Angel Chen. Chen will be lending her bright aesthetics and traditional Chinese cultural influences to compile a capsule collection with MAC.

As announced by MAC, the collection will be exuding Chinese charm by putting a modern twist on a Chinese dragon culture. The range is said to be composed mainly of reds in a full range of vibrant nuances. Of course, everything comes in limited edition collectible packaging adorned with Chinese dragon motifs!

Angel Chen is known for her experimental attitude, colorful approach to fashion, and fresh and original creations. The fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetic has made her a part of a new wave of young Chinese designers garnering global attention. With her namesake label, Chen was the first Chinese designer to collaborate with H&M. Her 45-piece capsule collection launched in H&M Stores in September 2019. She has also made it to the 2016 Forbes China “30 Under 30” shortlist, and has worked with celebrities like Chris Lee, Kris Wu Fan Bingbing, Bella Hadid, and Charli XCX.

This is not the first time that MAC collaborates with Asian celebrities. More recently, the brand has released the Pony Park collection designed in collaboration with k-beauty star Pony. The launch date for the MAC x Angel Chen collection is yet to be announced, so stay tuned for more information!
