MARC Jacobs for Sephora

The famous American fashion designer, Marc Jacobs has just announced that he plans to rush into the exciting world of color cosmetics. His upcoming makeup collection is going to be designed in collaboration with Sephora, but the launch date has not yet been decided.

Speaking about the collection, Jacobs said: “I see makeup, fragrance — everything, really — as an opportunity. The idea of choosing a color for your lip, or an eyeliner — it’s just such a delight. The ritual of waking up and making those choices is something people really enjoy. We currently are working on defining what Marc Jacobs cosmetics will be, what they’ll say, what makes them distinctive. I think that will take some time, but the first meeting was good.”

It is really hard to guess what exactly can we expect from his debut cosmetics line, but I think it will be really interesting, all the way from the packaging to the colors and textures. Let's wait and see.
