Maybelline Baby Lips Repairing Lip Balm

Another great product from Maybelline is coming out this October. This time, its Baby Lips Repairing Lip Balm, an intense-care balm with SPF20 protection. The new line is officially available in October, but certain local drug stores may already have them in stock. Maybelline Baby Lips is super-moisturizing balm and comes in great choice of shades. There is also a clear version, if you prefer for more natural look.

This product is clearly targeted at teens, and it evokes one of the brands’ most iconic products: the Baby Lash Mascara, which was fairly popular during the 80’s and until the late 90’s. Perhaps the brand is considering reviving the Baby line? We’ll see…

The new lip balm is based on exclusive formula fortified with Centella Asiatica, a natural plant that improves lip coloration and reduces the appearance of fine lines. In addition, this lip balm is loaded with Vitamins E and C, natural shea butter, aloe and camphor. SPF 20 protects against sun-induced damage and shelters your lips against harmful UVA/UVB rays.

The balm debuted on the runway and it was used backstage at BCBG in Quenched.
