NARS Andy Warhol Collection

NARS has just announced that they are planning to release Andy Warhol collection for Fall 2012. The collection will be designed by Francois Nars and in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation. The foundation, established in 1987, works with a mission to promote visual arts, to protect and enhance Warhol’s creative legacy.

In 1987 the Foundation took ownership of the copyrights and trademarks of Andy Warhol. During recent years, the Foundation have made license agreements with various brands such as Levi’s, Adidas, Seiko, Campbell’s Soup Company, and famous perfumery house Bond No9. The upcoming line by NARS will be the first makeup collection entirely dedicated to Andy Warhol.

In the worlds of Francois Nars, the new Andy Warhol makeup collection will arrive in innovative packaging, formulas and shades, strongly inspired by the bold and colorful spirit of Andy Warhol’s works. The collection will be launched in the U.S. in October and worldwide in November 2012.
