NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment

July sees the launch of NARS Cosmetics latest lipstick innovation – the Powermatte Lip Pigment! Available from July 6, 2017, is the new liquid lipstick with insane matte color saturation with ultra-flexible long-wear. The Powermatte Lip Pigment will be available in 20 completely new shades, covering a full spectrum of colors, from baby pinks do deep black.

The faces of the promotional campaign, shot by François Nars himself, are Bella Hadid and Justin Gossman. Drawing inspiration from the rebellion and self-expression of the Rock and Roll era, the photo expresses the idea of effortlessness that’s both bold and sultry.

The names of the shades have been borrowed from some of the greatest rebel songs and rock and roll hits of all times, including songs by Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Clash, War… just to name the few. The lipstick has been designed to be NARS’s most powerful matte yet. The smooth, gel-like formula features a very thin consistency, so it glides on easily and layers seamlessly without streaking or staining. NARS describes it as a liquefied pigment with a zero-gravity feel!

NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment is launching soon at Nars Cosmetics, Nordstrom, and Sephora, and will retail for $26. Early access, from July 5th, will be possible from the Sephora mobile app.
