Sisley Introduces 2-in-1 Velvet Nourishing Cream

September sees the launch of Sisley Paris’ new Velvet Nourishing Cream, developed to rejuvenate and bring comfort to dry skin.

For more than 15 years, Sisley’s Confort Extreme range has offered a skincare duo for dry and very dry skin – a daytime and nighttime skincare. Now, the experts from Sisley Labs have united the duo in a brand new formula.

The Velvet Nourishing Cream plays two different roles. It can be used both as a day cream and a nightly treatment. This multitasking formula adapts to skin’s own chronobiology so it can provide protection during the day, when our skin is constantly being bombarded by external factors, and repair during the night. The incredibly lightweight texture is equally nourishing, yet comfortable enough to be used even before makeup.

Formulated with Saffron flowers and designed for very dry and sensitive skin, it provides an instant soothing action so the skin regains its comfortable feeling and radiance. Saffron flower extract, a new Sisley key ingredient, neutralizes redness and reduces the feeling of tightness, allowing the skin to feel comfortable all day long.

The innovative formula provides a boost of moisture and compensates for the lack of lipids in dry skin. It blends three omega-rich oils - Cottonseed, Macadamia, and Sunflower seed oil – to plump up the skin and reinforce its barrier while promoting hydration. For the first time ever, Sisley has utilized the power of a unique Oriental ingredient, Japanese Lilyturf extract, which is known to stimulate lipid production and boost its barrier function. Last but not least, a special hydrating complex made of Wheat extract, plant-based Glycerin, and Pro-vitamin B5 instantly restores skin’s moisture levels and rebuilds its water reserves.
