Yves Saint Laurent Couture Contouring Collection for Fall 2016

Yves Saint Laurent Beauté has prepared a small capsule collection dedicated to the art of contouring. YSL's new Couture Contouring Collection is designed to help you enhance the shape and look of your eyes and cheeks, using only deep matte contour shades to shape, and the light highlighting shades to illuminate. The hand-picked selection of beautifully coordinated neutrals will help accentuate and even alter the shape of your best features. Whether you just want to improve your natural look, or if you want to get a complete makeover, contouring is the way to go! The principle is very simple – use dark shades to recede certain parts of your face and create an illusion of depth. Use lighter shades whenever you want to accentuate, and make some of the features stand out.

Contouring can be done using a wide range of colors, as long as you stick to the general rules of using dark and light shades for highlighting and shadowing. For Fall 2016, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté has compiled two Couture Eyeshadow Palettes, which are made of colors that work perfectly together. The combination of matte, satin and shimmer shades is offered in two color harmonies - Golden Glow and Rosy Glow. The new YSL Eye Couture Contouring Palette allows you to create signature looks for your eyes using five different shades that glide on smoothly and blend effortlessly. The YSL Couture Contouring Palette is priced at $60.00.

In addition, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté offers two Couture Contouring Palettes, each featuring two coordinated contouring and highlighting colors. Use them to create a customized, naturally sculpted look. Use the deeper shade to add buildable definition on areas of the face you want to slim and define (hollows of the cheeks, jawline, bottom of the chin, sides of the nose). The lighter shade illuminates and adds highlights to areas such as cheekbones, under the brow, and the cupids bow. YSL Couture Contouring Palettes are available in Rose Contouring and Golden Contouring. Each of the luxurious compacts retails at $47.00.
