Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Matte Lipstick

YSL Beauty is launching a new lipstick this fall. The iconic upscale brand introduces a new, slim version of its much coveted Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick. Now completely reimagined, The Slim Matte Lipstick is the first super-thin square couture lipstick that provides a longwearing matte color.

The luxurious newcomer is announced as a velvety, leather-matte lipstick that feels like second skin. Easy to apply and comfortable to wear, it allows you to look couture while feeling casual as ever. The full, opaque, high-pigment matte color arrives in 12 couture inspired shades, designed by YSL’s creative director Tom Pecheux.

The non-drying, creamy formula saturates the lips with color as it glides on smoothly and sets into a fine, leather-like matte finish that lasts all day long. The uniquely shaped square bullet features an angled high point that can be used as a lip liner, while the sides of the bullet are designed for filling the lips.

Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Lipstick is housed in an original square bullet case, which is said to be inspired by the iconic designs of the house of Yves Saint Laurent. The promo campaign is fronted by Edie Campbell. Each of the 12 starting shades comes with a price tag of $39.00. Available from September 2018 at Nordstrom.
