Yves Saint Laurent The Shock Eye Event

Together with the new fragrance Black Opium Floral Shock, Yves Saint Laurent launches The Shock Eye Event make up line with the tagline “Are you ready to #GetAShock” at the beginning of 2017. The look they are going for is grungy and rock chic with overloaded lashes, intense shades and smoky dark eyes.

The Shock (Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils) is a volume and extra bold faux lashes effect mascara for “the rock chick” look. It is announced as the first YSL mascara for heavy volume on lashes with roughness and the only YSL mascara with instant grip yet high workability. The lashes are left heavy, dark and intense. The Shock provides extra volume, quick dramatic effect, overload in one stroke and comfort & protection. Its brush is of an innovative shape with 4 reservoir cuts for the instant volume.

It comes in three shades:

• No 1 Noir Asphalte (black)
• No 2 Blue Underground (blue)
• No 3 Burgundy Bad (dark red, limited edition)

Application: Apply onto the sides of the lashes using zig-zag motion. Stroke after stroke, the volume gets bigger.

Couture Brow Marker is a limited edition brow pencil that gives precise definition and “bold and wild” result with its ink formula. It is made for “the perfectly undone look “and medium to thick natural brow look. Available in two shades:

Application: Use the felt tip to design and fill in the brow in one stroke.

Eye Duo Smoker is a limited edition eye shadow duo stick with creamy texture for a long-lasting smoky effect. It provides dark intensity of color, shimmering deep shades and creamy texture that is easy to apply and blend. One shade on each stick is of shimmery finish, while the other one is matte. Application:

Eye Gloss Smudger is a limited edition multi-use glossy top coat that you can apply over the eye shadow or directly on your skin. The “make-it rough” eye - gloss provides a smudge wet-eyes look and a transparent wet finish.

Application:

Glossy Touch: Apply over eye shadow or bare skin. Soft en the edges all along the brow bone with the eye brush.

Trashy Touch: Apply over eye shadow with fingertips.

Couture Variation Palette No 4 Underground is a limited edition 10 shades eye shadow palette (8 colors, a base and an eyeliner), offering intense colors of matte and shimmery finish. It is announced ad the first YSL expert eye palette inspired by black harmonies and the only YSL palette with matte to shimmery finishes, powdery to creamy texture.

Application: Start by sculpting and illuminating with shade N°1 (Base & Highlighter). Choose signature 1, 2 or 3. Follow by designing with color based on the YSL signature that you choose.
