In 2015, MAC Cosmetics joined its forces with China’s most famous fashion designer, Guo Pei, to create a special 16-piece makeup collection inspired by Oriental culture. The products are delivered in a collectible limited edition gold-color packaging with Oriental flower motifs. The design was borrowed from her latest haute couture collection, which is, in turn, inspired by the traditional Chinese saying: “There is a kingdom in a flower; a wisdom in a leaf.”
