Lancome and the famous fashion designer Alber Elbaz have joined forces to create the limited edition collection named Hypnose Show. Here is the first look at it!

Lancome Hypnose Show Collection, decorated by fashion illustrations of Alber Elbaz, is sheduled for launch on June 15. The collection focuses on eye makeup and it brings a couple of mascaras, different eye palettes and false lashes. It is no secret that eye makeup is the center of Lancome, but Elbaz had question himself about what new he could bring to the world of makeup.

In an interview for WWD, Elbaz speaks about his inspiration: “Once I was in a fancy place (Le Bristol hotel in Paris) where there was this group of people that were all shining. The shoes were shining, the hair was shining, the skin, watches and diamonds — but the eyes were not shining. I thought if I were to do a project I would love to do a ‘happy eye’ project to make the eyes shine.”

Elbaz has contributed to the project by revisiting some of the Lancome’s best selling mascaras. A 90-second video advertising campaign, featuring his hand-drawn characters, will go online on June 3. Elbaz has also created new packaging for eye products, including the Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palette.

The limited edition Hypnôse mascaras - Doll, Drama, Définicils and Star — will be priced at $29. The four eye palettes will be $51, and the false lashes, which will be exclusive to Nordstrom, will be $35.
