American Crew launches Elvis Presley Collection

American Crew, the famous American manufacturer and distributor of men’s grooming products, has just announced the launch of a very special limited edition collection dedicated to the legend of Elvis Presley.

The special edition lineup from American Crew includes six classic styling products with custom-made labels featuring images of Elvis Presley. With this new collection, American Crew salutes the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and proclaims him the King of Men’s Grooming. As announced by the brand, Elvis embodies the American symbol of the ultimate classic man. Elvis’s legendary pompadour hairstyle influenced men’s hairstyles for generations to come. Using pomade, Elvis popularized the pompadour, a style coveted by men across the world.

As David Raccuglia, American Crew founder, explained: “Men around the world owe a debt to Elvis Presley. He showed us that it’s not just what you have to say, but how you say it. He made success and change seem effortless, and used his voice and looks to make a statement to the world. Elvis is ‘the original cool.”

Elvis Presley’s Hairstylist, Larry Geller, recently spoke with Yahoo! Beauty about the King’s hair care routine: “I used to go to the health food store and get a benign base shampoo and get some vitamin capsules and pour 99 percent pure aloe vera and other herbs into it, and shake it up… That’s what I used on Elvis’ hair. He said to me, right from the get-go, ‘You can do whatever you want with my hair, but one thing—make sure I keep it!”

The limited edition American Crew line, dedicated to Elvis Presley, comprises Fiber, Pomade, Forming Cream, Grooming Cream, Molding Clay and Defining Paste. The products are accompanied by the slogan: “Groom like the King with American Crew”
