Aveda Launches Invati Hair Care Line

Aveda’s new Invati Hair Care line launches in February 2012 to offer natural solutions for thinning hair. This new line of products is said to be 97% natural and formulated to reduce hair loss by up to 33%.

The Invati line is named for the The Invati line and it is powered by Densiplex Complex, developed according to the old ayurvedic traditions of mixing selected herbs with turmeric and ginseng. The formula energizes and invigorates the scalp around the hair follicles, and promotes hair growth and strengthening.

Exfoliating Shampoo, cleanses and exfoliates the scalp. The product is based on wintergreen-derived salicylic acid that unclogs the pores and removes excess sebum. It retails at $24 for 200 ml.

Thickening Conditioner is based on arginine, an amino acid derived from sugar beets and soy protein. It penetrates the shaft and makes it thicker from the inside. Organic kukui nut oil is added for shine. This product retails at $24 for 200 ml.

Scalp Revitalizer is based on turmeric and ginseng and aimed to be massaged into the scalp twice daily. The product retails at $60 for 150 ml.

In addition to these hair-care products, Aveda offers Healthy Hair Daily – a herbal supplement based on ayurvedic herbs and botanical extracts.
