Beautycounter Expands Into Makeup With Bounce Foundaton

Beautyblender, the producer of the world’s most iconic makeup sponge is expanding into makeup! Naturally, the first makeup product is a liquid foundation, but even more complexion products are currently in the works!

The new Beautyblender Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation is a liquid foundation with an ultra-fine, whipped formula. Designed to offer a matte, velveteen finish, the foundation is powerful enough to conceal even the tiniest imperfections, with just about the right amount of luster to make your complexion look naturally flawless.

The lightweight, long-wearing formula is enriched with moisturizing hyaluronic acid and white birch extract to help even skin tone and texture. This buildable foundation can easily be sheered out or layered, without any heavy, drying feel.

The Bounce Foundation is available in a broad spectrum of 32 shades, designed to cover all different skin tones and undertones. The range includes seven deep shades and seven tan/deep shades, designed by and for women of color. Half the shades are formulated for brown skin tones, with a variety of undertones from neutral, warm, cool, olive, and a special ultramarine blue to create a deep, rich tone.

The Bounce Foundation comes in a practical packaging that is meant to be compatible with its iconic blender. One side of the glass bottle has a plastic palette where the foundation is dispensed before application, so the product can be picked up with a sponge.

Beautyblender’s Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation ($40) will be available online at Sephora from July 24, and in stores from August 10. The foundation will be exclusive to Sepora for a year.
