Chanel Bombay Express Collection for Summer 2012
Chanel has just announced a gorgeous new sun-lit collection that comprises of five makeup essentials in perfectly matched shades.
The collection is named Bombay Express, and I'm wondering if there is some kind of a connection between Chanel's upcoming line and the Tamil movie Mumbai Express, directed by Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao. Bombay is just another name for Mumbai, the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra, which is the most thickly settled city in India and the fourth most inhabited city in the world. When the night falls on Bombay, millions and millions of shiny bright light bulbs are starting to glow, creating a magical golden aura around its houses and buildings. The same golden hue radiates from Chanel's Bombay Express collection, through various shades and textures carefully selected to help you create beautiful makeup styles in a matter of minutes.
The collection is set for launch in June 2012. There are only five products in this limited edition offer. There is Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in gorgeous dark shade named Nirvana. It is actually a classic black creamy eyeshadow in fused with delicate silvered glitter.
Chanel Poudre Compacte arrives in the shade named Route des Indes de Chanel. The surface of the powder is embossed with lovely floral motif.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine will be available in sheer golden-nectarine hue named #437 Empreinte, while Chanel Le Vernis arrives in the Diwali shade.
The only product for which we don't have a poto at the moment is the Joues Contraste Powder Blush in a limited edition shade named Brume d’Or.
