Chanel is launching two new skin-hydrating products named Chanel Hydra Beauty Crème Riche and Chanel Hydra Max Nourishing Lip Balm.

The new products are inspired by Miss Gabrielle Coco Chanel’s favorite camellia flower, which blooms during winter, when most other flowers have gone dormant. Camellia was a prominent motif of Coco’s creations, and it also served as her never-ending source of inspiration for bags, pendants and different pieces of jewelry. According to one romantic tale, Coco became obsessed with camellias after one was given to her by her polo-playing lover, Boy Capel.

Chanel Hydra Beauty Crème Riche and Chanel Hydra Max Nourishing Lip Balm are announced as everything that your skin will ever need to resist the cold weather and to rejuvenate before the spring. Both products are based on ultra-hydrating formula that features moisturizing powers of Camellia Alba PFA and the precious Camellia oil.
