Chanel launches a new collection inspired by a watercolor portrait of Gabrielle Chanel, painted by Marie Laurencin in 1920s. That image is also a point of departure for the 2011 Spring-Summer Haute Couture Collection by Carl Lagerfeld. Pastel-toned, clean and feminine, the collection offers soft pinks, ivory and dove grey shades, and is designed for coloring candidly pure faces.

The central piece of the collection is Ombres Tossées. This limited edition illuminating powder offers three beige harmonies for eyes and cheeks. It offers pale pink and ivory tones embellished with a luminous layer of shimmer. The product is available in a limited edition and priced at $75.00.

Joues Contraste powder blush is another limited edition product in a rose shade, Pink Cloud. It lends a soft, natural-looking color to cheeks and comes in a convenient portable case with brush. This product also comes in permantent Rose Ecrin shade witha a silky texture that flattering radiance to cheeks. It softens the face and provides more youthful look. Priced at $43.00.

Ombre Essentielle Gris Exquis soft touch eyeshadow in the limited-edition shade, Gris Exquis, offers elegant dove grey shade ideal for romantic eye looks. The shade is priced at $28.50.

Rouge Coco Shine hydrating sheer lipshine is available in a complete range of shades, from delicate beiges to dazzling berries. Royallieu, limited edition shade, is featured in this collection and priced at $32.00.

Stylo Yeux Waterproof long-lasting eyeliner in espresso shade, perfectly matches the rest of the collection. The product is based on a Gentle, soft, silicone-enriched formula. It has a built-in sharpener at the opposite end and retails at $29.00.

Last but not the least: Le Vernis – nail color in a limited edition shade Tendresse. This long-wearing, high-shine, chip-resistant color is priced at $25.00.
