Christian Louboutin Lip Definer Lip Liners

The famous shoe designer Christian Louboutin has recently extended his prestige beauty collection, to include a full range of lip liners, designed to complement his luxurious lipstick collection. I’m quite sure that all of you remember the buzz he created back in 2013, when he launched a capsule collection of $50 nail polishes. In 2015, he introduced and under-nail polish pen to the collection, and shortly followed with a full line of 36 $90 lipsticks. Ending yet another successful year in style, Louboutin now introduces a selection of lip liners or, as he likes to call them – Lip Definers.

Christian Louboutin Lip Definer is described as a self-sharpening tool designed to define and highlight lip contour for fuller looking lips. While most of the lip liners are designed to match the shade of your lipstick, Louboutin’s Lip Definer matches the natural shade of the lip contour, so it comes in five different shades of nude:

• Leanue – pale beige,
• Nats – warm  beige,
• Maya - luminous tan,
• Safki – reddish cocoa, and
• Ada - deep, chocolate brown.

As Louboutin describes them, the lip definers are designed to work with any lip color, so they can also be worn alone. The texture is soft and creamy, it promises even and full coverage, it is waterproof, and doesn't feather. What I like about it is that this mechanical pencil is automatically sharpened when the cap is opened and closed.

The long silver cap is adorned with gold studs, and fitted with a small ring on top, which helps transform it into a pendant. The design of its tall, slender body is inspired Middle Eastern antiquities and the Art Deco movement.
