Christian Louboutin Metalinude Collection

The famous shoe designer Christian Louboutin expands his beauty empire with the addition of the new Metalinude Collection, which includes three new shades of Loubilaque Lipstick and three limited edition Nail Color shades.

The new lips and tips collection is designed in line with Christian Louboutin’s shoe and bag collection for Spring/Summer 2017. The shades and textures of the range evoke the look Louboutin’s poudre glitter pumps, nude patent calfskin clutches, and latte patent/metal leather heels.

The Metalinude Loubilaque Lipsticks deliver a brilliant shimmer and mirror-like finish in a full array of sultry nudes. These warm and soft, bright metallic shades are universally flattering, but they go especially well with a sun-kissed, summery tan. In keeping with Christian’s vision of beauty as objet d’art, the bottle, made of thick, clear glass, is adorned with an intricate mermaid tail pattern. Enclosed with a turret-like crown with a small ring on top, the lipstick can be mounted on a silk ribbon and worn as a pendant.

The Metalinude Nail Color arrives in a limited edition collection of metallic nude shades inspired by Louboutin’s poudre-colored patent leather shoes. The shades are Irisa, Coloissima, and Preciosa. The nail polish is presented in a faceted bottle that features a tall, slender cap inspired by calligraphy. Its pigment-dense, super glossy formula achieves in just two coats the effect of 20 layers of traditional lacquer.
