Christian Louboutin Rouge Louboutin Lip Colour Collection Holiday 2015

Earlier this year, somewhere in August, the luxury shoe Christian Louboutin unveiled his luscious lipstick line. Building upon the success of Louboutin nail polish, the lip color range debuted with 38 shades in three different textures. The whole range revolves around Louboutin’s signature red, as all of the shades belong to the red color harmony - ranging from soft pinks to deep purples. While the lipsticks are housed in gold-colored cases, the signature range is delivered in special black, lacquered cases, evocative of Louboutin’s iconic pumps!

For Holiday 2015, Christian Louboutin releases a special lipstick trio comprising three full sized Rouge Louboutin Lip Colors in Louboutin’s signature red. The emblematic hue is now available in all three finishes: Silky Satin, Velvet Matte, and Sheer Voile.

When asked about what woman can wear his lipstick, Louboutin said: “After the red soles and red nails, I wanted to work with the idea of jewelry for the next chapter in the ‘red line.’ Not only can a woman wear one of my Rouge Louboutin Lip Colors on her lips, but she will be able to adorn herself with this necklace.”

The lipsticks are delivered in a special presentation box with three silk carrying pouches and a gunmetal necklace chain that compliments the silver, gold, and black finishes of each piece. Christian Louboutin Rouge Louboutin Lip Color Collection for Holiday 2015 is available in a limited edition, and priced at $270 USD.
