Clarins Body Lift Cellulite Control

Clarins is expanding its body care assortment with a new product named Body Lift Cellulite Control. The new body treatment is formulated to help in reduction of existing cellulite and slow the formation of new one.

Cellulite is the protrusion of subcutaneous fat within fibrous connective tissue which occurs in about 80-90% of women. There are many causes of cellulite but hormones and lifestyle factors play a dominant role in its formation. Among main reasons for cellulite formation are accumulation of toxins, enlarged fat cells poor blood circulation, fibrosis of connective tissue and water formation. Clarins new treatment is formulated with all these factors on mind. It works by trapping the fatty tissue, stimulating the circulation and boosting the elimination of excess water and lipid tissue. Specific active ingredients will also slows down the multiplication of fat cells thus preventing the formation of new cellulite. Within a couple of weeks the skin will improve in firmness, thanks to the improved collagen production, and the body will reshape as the skin becomes lifted and more toned. Clinical studies have shown that in four weeks 78% women noted less visible cellulite, 85% firmer skin and 92% smoother skin.

The active ingredients in the formula are Celosia Cristata and Aquatic Mint, which target the fatty tissue; Blue Button Flower, which breaks down the protein barrier around the lipidic vacuole and aids the penetration of fat-releasing enzymes; and Baccharis, which stimulates collagen production, firms and tones the skin. Clarins Body Lift Cellulite Control launches in France in March 2013. The product will retail at €47.
