Clinique launches Pep-Start HydroBlur Moisturizer

Clinique extends its Prep-Start collection this summer. The Pep-Start range, which was introduced a couple of months ago, debuted with the Pep-Start Eye Cream, a product that promises to make your tired eyes look wide awake in just three seconds. We’ve heard mixed reviews about the product, but almost all of the consumers agree that it slightly reduces puffiness and keeps your eye area well moisturized.

For the Summer of 2016, Clinique launches its Pep-Start HydroBlur Moisturizer ($29.50), and announces the launch of the Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser. While the moisturizer is already available for purchase at Sephora, the exfoliating cleanser will arrive later this summer. The HydroBlur part of its name reveals a little bit about the formula. As you may have guessed, this is a hybrid between skincare and makeup, a rich, long-lasting moisturizer that also blurs imperfections and prepares your skin for makeup application!

The oil-free formula is ideal for any skin type, and it promises to give an effective solution for dryness-related problems. The moisturizer provides all-day hydration, and forms a super-fine, matte finish that keeps surface oils at bay. The product is quite versatile, which means that you can wear it on its own, under foundation, or for touch-ups throughout the day – whenever you feel a need to mask some oily zones, or give your skin a boost of moisture. As any other efficient primer, the Pep-Start HydroBlur Moisturizer will also conceal the look of pores, and make your fine lines less visible.
