Clinique introduces the new SPF 30 and SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Fluid for Face, and SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen Lotion for Body, the latest additions to Clinique’s sun care collection. As announced by the famous manufacturer of skincare, cosmetics, toiletries and fragrances, the Mineral Sunscreen collection is designed to offer all benefits of lightweight and invisible sun protection.

Sunscreen should be part of your daily routine all day and every day, but despite the overwhelming choice of sunscreens on the market, it is almost impossible to find an effective, but safe sunscreen. In the vast ocean of sunscreen products, our favorites tend to be mineral-based – ones that are made free from potentially dangerous chemicals. While chemical sunscreens tend to be thinner in texture, to spread more evenly, and feel lighter on the skin, their ingredients are often associated with increased chance of redness, irritation, and even hormonal disruption.

Mineral sunscreens, on the other hand, contain physical filters that protect your skin from UVA and UVB radiation by deflecting or blocking the sun's rays. Their ingredients, such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, are perfectly safe, but the real downside is the nasty, chalky finish they tend to leave on the skin. Well, not anymore!

Clinique has come up with a revolutionary invisible sunscreen technology to offer completely safe and lightweight sun protection, so, finally, you can say goodbye to the white cast that mineral sunscreens can lend to the skin. The range of new ultra-lightweight mineral sunscreens is said to be incredibly comfortable and suitable even for sensitive skins. The Invisible Shield Technology, used in these formulations, forms a protective veil that's virtually invisible on all skin tones. The formula is also oil-free, and suitable for all skin types.

The collection of three new products launches in May 2016. There are two Mineral Sunscreen Fluids for Face, and a Mineral Sunscreen Lotion for Body SPF 30. Clinique Mineral Sunscreen Lotion for Face is available in SPF 30 and SPF 50 versions. An SPF 30 sunscreen blocks nearly 97 percent of radiation, compared to SPF 50+ which gives approximately 98% protection. So, if you’re wondering which one is for you, remember that there’s only a tiny difference between them.

In addition, Clinique has recently launched is SPF 30 Mineral Powder Makeup for Face, which protects the skin from sun-induced damage, while also evening its tone, reducing shine, and brightening the look of skin.
