Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF30 Hydrating Colour Corrector
Clinique has just unveiled a brand new skin care product name Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF30 Hydrating Colour Corrector.
With this new product, Clinique builds on success of its first BB cream and offers a new hybrid skincare solution which is not intended to be a replacement for their BB cream, but a completely new solution. In case you were wondering what CC stands for, it is an abbreviation for Color Correcting. This new skincare product, therefore, works as a color correcting treatment, which is designed to visibly correct redness and discoloration, while making the skin appear more luminous, brighter and to bring out its natural glow.
Similarly to BB cream, Clinique’s CC Cream is fortified with SPF 30 sun screens for UVA/UVB protection, antioxidants and vitamin E. The cream is first and foremost a skin care product, but it also has wonderful makeup properties, which are added to its nourishing and protective features. The formula is super-moisturizing as it blends potent hydrating agents such as aloe, hyaluronic acid and trehalose. Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF30 Hydrating Colour Corrector will be available in six shades and it is formulated to give a light to moderate coverage (unlike the BB cream which offers much fuller semi-matte/matte coverage). Just like the BB cream, it can be worn on its own or layered under foundation or face powder. What is very interesting is that the color correcting technology, used for Clinique’s CC Cream, works well on all skin tones and all skin types. This was not always the case with various BB creams, which have been formulated differently for various markets (Asian and European, for example).
Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF30 Hydrating Colour Corrector will be available starting from April, as a 40ml. The product will be launched in the UK, where it will retail at about £28. In most markets, the CC Cream will be offered as Moisture Surge. However, Across Europe it will be Superdefence cream with slightly different formula but based on the same color correcting technology. Source:Moodiereport
