The force awakens this September, with Covergirl's new makeup collection! While the Star War fans will have to wait until December for the latest sequel of the saga created by George Lucas, beauty enthusiasts will get a taste of it much earlier. To celebrate the upcoming movie release“Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens,” Covergirl has partnered with the  Walt Disney Pictures, Lucasfilm, and Abrams' Bad Robot Production for a geeky and cool makeup range dedicated to sci-fi fans. The Star Wars Makeup Collection will be available online starting September 4th, and elsewhere by the end of the same month!

The Covergirl's Star Wars Makeup Collection is a limited edition range inspired by the movie, its recognizable aesthetics, lightsabers, and the forces of Dark and Light. For this interesting collaboration, Covergirl has also created three different pairs of looks, each envisioned by Covergirl Global Creative Design Director Pat McGrath. At this point, the collaborators have revealed just one of them, while other pairs will remain wrapped for a couple of weeks more: Droid, which is inspired by C3PO, and Stormtrooper, inspired by the elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire.

As McGrath explains: “Metallics are popular again this season and fit perfectly with the film. Take some risks and have fun with a gold or silver lip.” Pat has also created a similar look for Kim Kardashian- liquid gold brows and golden metallic eyes, paired with Cleopatra-style eyeliner.

As Pat describes it, the Star Wars Makeup Collection is designed to help women to express and celebrate their freedom by articulating different sides of their personalities and moods. There are no less than 10 shades of SuperSizer Mascaras, each belonging to either Light or Dark group, and six shades of Colorlicious Lipsticks – one for each of the six Star Wars inspired looks. Finally, the brand has also released three Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Glosses in Star Wars themed packaging...

Covergirl Star Wars Mascara comes in 10 shades, in either waterproof or regular formulas. The waterproof shades belong to the Light group, while the regular shades belong to the Dark Side. The packaging is decorated with the Star Wars insigia, and one of the iconic movie lines. $5.99-$7.49
