Dior Garden Party Collection for Spring 2012

Dior Beauty threw a garden party last Tuesday in Los Angeles, to announce and celebrate the new garden party inspired Spring 2012 makeup collection. The collection is inspired by Dior's lush garden in Granville, Normandy, where Christian Dior himself often hosted glamorous Grand Balls.

The collection is simply gorgeous but, unfortunately, it won’t be available before January 2012.

Dior Garden Clutch features a pink casing adorned with a with a woven pattern and graced with Dior’s insignia on a silver plate, and two rosebud clasps. When you open the case you’ll find a trio of rose eye shadows, Dior Ultra-Gloss and a Lip Maximizer. This product is priced at $75 and available in two color harmonies:

#002 Granville Garden

Dior 5-Couleurs Garden Edition is an eye shadow quintet inspired by embroidered designs on delicate tulle. The shadows are embossed with a floral pattern and available in two color harmonies. Each of them is priced at $59 and packed in a compact case with a mirror and two dual-tip applicators.

Dior Vernis Garden Party Scented Lacquers – are offered in two exciting new shades: a soft green and light mauve. Each of the shades retails at $23, and delivers a subtle scent of roses. At this moment, we have information only about these two shades but, judging by the promotional photo, a lot of new rose-inspired shades are about to be introduced with this collection.

3-Couleurs Eyeshadow comes in two new color harmonies, Smoky Garden and Smoky Roses, each priced at $48. Green palette is a Dior.com exclusive.

Rouge Dior Lipcolor retails at $32 and comes in two vibrant spring shades:

Dior Ultra-Gloss is in this collection offered in three shades, each priced at $32:

The collection will also include a Blusher in a limited edition. The blusher comes in a lovely silvered case with brush and a compact mirror. The powdery formula adapts to the skin tone and the exact shade you’ll get will actually depend on the heat of the skin. Unfortunately, there is no pricing information about this one, yet.
