Dior launches Capture Totale Eyes Essential serum

Dior adds a new eye cream this fall. The Capture Totale Eyes Essential serum is going to be launched in September. In the words of the brand, this is their first ever zone skin booster. The serum is intended to detoxify the skin and dramatically enhance the effect of other skin care products.

Eyes Essential is used under an eye cream. It is based on the formula that protects the delicate skin around the eyes from first signs of aging. It also diminishes dark circles and puffiness and helps you get that perfectly bright, clear and luminous skin. The serum is based on Dior’s One Essential technology, which boosts proteasome, an enyzmatic system said to be in charge of cellular recycling. This way, the serum stimulates the cells in the eye area and preserves youthfulness, while preventing and correcting signs of fatigue.

“Twenty years ago, people wanted to look tan,” said Terry Darland, president of North America for Christian Dior Perfumes LLC. in an interview for WWD “Now, people are getting their tans from a bottle or a bronzer, and there’s a big emphasis on brighter, clearer, more luminous skin. I’ve especially seen a rise in this trend within the last two years, and it continues to go more mainstream.”

Eyes Essential will become available September in about 820 U.S. department and specialty store doors, including Sephora, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor and Dillard’s. The Eyes Essential serum will retail for $70 for 0.5 oz.
