Dior has announced the launch of its new product, the One Essential City Defense, which will be available from May 1, 2015.

As announced form the house of Dior, the One Essential City Defense is the latest addition to its One Essential range, which is specifically designed to fight against the toxins to restore the skin's luminosity. Same as all other products from the One Essential franchise, the new One Essential City Defense detoxifies the skin, optimizes the proper functioning of skin cells, and boosts up by four times the effectiveness of your skincare ingredients. In addition, Dior’s new One Essential City Defense fights against the external pollutants, which makes it ideal for consumers with sensitive skin. The product is developed for people living in the urban areas, or for anyone whose skin is highly reactive to changes in air quality.

The product is said to combat pollution in three different ways: by forming a protective veil over the skin’s surface, by strengthening the skin’s barrier, and by neutralizing any pollutants that penetrate the skin. In this way, Dior One Essential City Defense prevents impurities from sticking to the skin, it reduces penetration of pollutants, while the antioxidants found in the formula neutralize any contaminants that find their way through…

Dior One Essential City Defense also doubles as a powerful sunscreen. It features SPF 50 (PA ++), which blocks an estimated 98 percent of UVB rays. In addition, it brightens the complexion, and acts as an excellent makeup primer.

Dior One Essential City Defense is available from May 2015. The product is delivered in a recognizable red-colored packaging, with massive silver stopper. A 30 ml bottle retails at $95.
