Dior to launch DreamSkin Perfect Skin Cushion Foundation
Last year, Amorepacific Corporation and Parfums Christian Dior announced the signing of a multilateral agreement about strategic partnership between two beauty brands. At the time, Amorepacific, one of the leading cosmetic companies in South Korea, offered to reveal a couple of traditional Asian beauty secrets to its Western partner, and, most importantly, it offered its innovative cushion technology to Dior.

The cushion, developed by Amorepacific, is an innovative makeup compact that includes a special anti-bacterial sponge suspended in a liquid formula. The fluid is composed of moisturizing base, foundation, SPF, and different skin care ingredients. For those of you who want to dig deeper into this subject, here is a short article on cushion foundations.
Amorepacific’s IOPE AirCushion was launched in 2008. The product soon became amazingly popular all around the world, giving rise to a completely new makeup category. The cushion technology has so far introduced under many different brand names. It was Lancôme that first brought the cushion foundation to the western markets, with its Miracle Cushion, and many more brands have followed since then. This summer, Dior is launching its take on the cushion foundation, Dior Capture Total Dreamskin Perfect Skin Cushion.

Dior’s DreamSkin Cushion is announced as a thirst quenching, anti-aging, complexion-perfecting makeup-skincare hybrid. Dior’s cushion foundation is designed to conceal minor imperfections and provide a demi-matte veil of sheer coverage that makes your skin look and feel instantly refreshed. Certainly, one of its best features is that it offers a high level of sun protection SPF50 PA+++, while feeling lightweight on the skin. Dior Capture Total Dreamskin Perfect Skin Cushion will be available in four color adaptive shades, and Dior claims this is all you need to cover off all skin tones.
And these are some great cushion foundations from other brands:
