Dior is launching a new makeup collection, designed for Spring 2014. Dior’s upcoming color cosmetics range is named Trianon, and it is inspired by Versailles and the controversial 18th-century French queen Marie Antoinette.
Marie Antoinette, an 18th century aristocratic girl and a first lady of the French royal family, is remembered as a delicately beautiful woman with gray-blue eyes and ash-blonde hair. Marie was a vivacious, outgoing and bold, a true symbol for the extravagance of the 18th century monarchy. Dior’s Trianon Collection takes aesthetic cues from Marie Antoinette’s lavish personality, her subtle sense of refinement, and a true “art de vivre,” which she spread around.
The collection is named after the Petit Trianon, a small château on the grounds of the Palace of Versailles, which was built by the order of Louis XV for his mistress Madame de Pompadour. This was Marie Antoinette’s favorite place to escape from the formality of court life, a place where she enjoyed the ease and leisure of her most private moments.

Dior Trianon Collection focuses on soft pastel shades, which were carefully chosen to help you recreate a fresh and sweet feminine look. The sophisticated hues are offered in an array of textures, ranging from matte to shiny satiny… Take a look.

Dior Palette Trianon is a limited edition makeup palette that arrives in a special bow-inspired case. The central pinky shade is a blusher, while the four shades of eye shadow include pistachio, chocolate brown, iridescent pink, and a black liner shade. The palette includes a mirror, two eyeshadow applicators and a mini version of a blush brush.

Dior DiorBlush is offered in two lovely shades: deep pink named Pink Reverie and cheerful coral named Coral Bagatelle.

Dior Diorshow Fusion Mono Matte Eyeshadow is offered in four lovely shades: beige (Songe), chocolate (Mirage), purple (Céleste) and black (Nocturne). Diorshow Fusion Mono eyeshadows are known for their weightless finish and multidimensional, light-reflecting color payoff. This eye shadow is based on a gel texture that blends easily with the fingertips.

Dior 5-Colour Eyeshadow palette is offered in two limited edition color harmonies: No.234 Pastel Fontagnes, and No.954 Pink Pompadour, while Dior Diorshow Mono arrives in two limited edition shades: a purple one named No.170 Angelique, and a green shade named No.427 Opaline.

Dior Rouge is offered in four flower-inspired shades: pink pop - Courtesan, coral - Crinoline, pale - Sovereign and pure fuchsia - Allegresse.

Dior Addict Gloss also arrives in four shades: a sparkling champagne shade named No.122 Mousseline, a candy pink named No.382 Minauderie, a light coral shade No.442 Petillante and a vibrant pink shade named No.771 Exquise.

To complete the makeup look for Spring 2014, Dior offers four limited edition shades of Dior Vernis: No. 204 Porcelaine, No. 777 Bloom, No. 457 Bouquet and No. 187 Perle.
