Right after teasing the Getting Hotter Collection for Summer 2019, which is full of lip goodies, Fenty Beauty is expanding beyond color cosmetics. Rihanna’s makeup brand has announced the launch of a lip scrub and a lip balm.
The lip care collection drops on May 10, just like the makeup collection. It includes a nourishing balm named Pro Kisser Luscious Lip Balm, formulated with shea and mango butters and intended to be worn alone or under lipstick. The non-sticky formula delivers a universal invisipink sheen, with a light peach-vanilla scent. $18
The Pro Kissr Lip-Loving Scrubstick is a lightweight, non-greasy stick infused with apricot seed scrubbers to gently exfoliate and nourish the lips. Just swipe back and forth over lips to prepare them for makeup application. $16
While the new product duo falls under the Fenty Beauty label, rumor has it that Rihanna plans to expand into skin care. Moreover, the famous singer and performer have already applied to trademark the name “Fenty Skin” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The "Fenty Skin" trademark application was approved and it relates to "medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products (excluding color cosmetics, perfume and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools and applicators." Although details are scarce, we can’t be more excited!
