In 2015, the beauty division of Giorgio Armani celebrates its 15th birthday. To mark this special occasion, Armani’s International Make-Up Artist, Linda Cantello, has envisioned a completely new, utterly glamorous lip product, which perfectly encapsulates distinctive DNA of the Italian luxury brand. Giorgio Armani Ecstasy Lacquer is a new generation brilliant lip color, which combines the glamorous, long wearing color of a lipstick, the convenience of a lip balm, and the high-impact shine of a lip gloss.

As announced by the brand, the Ecstasy Lacquer is far more than a regular lip gloss. This technological novelty is a true cosmetics masterpiece built on a blend of essential water, color pigments, glycerin, and pearlescent particles. The formula is extremely comfortable and almost weightless. The light texture of the Ecstasy Lacquer glides on effortlessly across your lips, as the water evaporates, allowing the nourishing oils to reach the surface and shine. It promises up to eight hours of fresh-looking wear, and a non-greasy, non-sticky feel. One of the main ingredients in the unique formula is ethyl cellulose, which is an elastic polymer that forms a glossy layer on top to fix the color and prolong its wear, while remaining perfectly fresh and brilliant.

Giorgio Armani Ecstasy Lacquer will be offered in 18 beautiful shades, and in two different finishes: either color-intense varnish-effect, or metallic pearl. The following photo illustrates the difference between them.

Giorgio Armani Ecstasy Lacquer is launching in August 2015. The product will retail at about € 32.50.
