Giorgio Armani’s beauty division is launching a new makeup collection, which accords with the fashion trends of the upcoming season. Envisioned as an ideal makeup kit for fall and winter of 2014, Giorgio Armani’s new Fade To Grey Collection is launching in August 2014.

Giorgio Armani Fade To Grey Makeup Collection is a romantic interpretation of the seasonal feelings. The shades are inspired by the nuances of Milan, the famous Italian fashion capital, by the color of its sky, its shimmering gold shades in the morning, silvery bright during the day, and mysteriously purple when the night falls. The range is named Fade to Grey, after the charcoal and black couture collection, which Armani’s Makeup Artist Linda Canatello interprets as: “Fade to grey. Eyes with a wash of color. Imagine a strong Armani look with straight graphic eyebrows, grey eyes, berry mouth, and all a little bit 'delavé' ” In other words, this is the typical Armani look, but faded. Backstage at Giorgio Armani Cantello used a custom-blended, slate cream shadow to create a faded smoky eye look, and paired it with subtle hints of purple. The eyebrows are painted with Giorgio Armani Beauty’s Eye&Brow Maestro, which is a multipurpose product developed in collaboration with hair stylists. The Eye&Brow Maestro, which is launching in September, should be used in a shade stronger than your natural hair color.

Giorgio Armani Eye Palette for Fall 2014 is inspired by Duomo di Milano, or Milan Chatedral, the famous Gothic cathedral, and its beautiful openwork pinnacles and spires, set upon delicate flying buttresses. The eye shadow blends classic grey and gold, in a pearly, richly saturated creamy texture, which glides on evenly on the lids and quickly dries into a fine, long lasting finish, that stays true for no less than 12 hours.
