Giorgio Armani Makeup for Fall 2013

The Armani's new makeup collection, which is scheduled for release in September 2013, is bringing us two lovely Face and Eye palettes, a range of Eyes to Kill eye shadows, and six new shades of Rouge d’Armani lipstick.

There is no official information about this collection at the moment but, as you will see, it is clear that Armani's makeup artists are putting a high emphasis on the eyes. Most of the products from this limited edition range are actually eye makeup, and the shades are mostly based on blue or green. The eyeshadows of this collection are based on Kaleidoscopic Pearls technology which means that they absorb and refract the light so that every blink of the eye creates a beautiful and unprecedented "multicolor illusion." These colors are alive, three-dimensional and almost psychedelic.

Giorgio Armani Face & Eye Palettes are delivered in two-in-one compact with two separate chambers. On the first tier is a lightweight face powder that illuminates the skin. Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Eyeshadow is now offered in six new shades: 30 Rose Popillia, 31 June Beetle, 32 Gold Hercule, 33 Scarab Violetta, 34 Blue Beetle, 35 Silver Chafe. This type of Armani eyeshadow is based on a hybrid formula, which is something in-between of a cream and a powder. Eyes to Kill eyeshadow feels like a smooth color film, it is highly pigmented and extremely bleandable. Giorgio Armani Rouge d'Armani is back in new, more intense shades. This comforting lipstick is distinguished by its soft texture, it feels balmy, nourishing and keeps the lips continuously hydrated. Rouge d'Armani is delivered in a black lacquered case with a magnetic closure that nicely seals with a click.
