Giorgio Armani presents its Runway-inspired makeup collection for Spring/Summer season of 2016. This capsule collection, comprising only four different items, is designed to help you recreate the trendy beauty look envisioned by Linda Cantello, International Make-Up Artist at Giorgio Armani.

On the final day of Milan Fashion Week, Giorgio Armani presented its Fil Rouge spring-summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection. As its name suggests, the collection embraces a lot of red details, from vibrant scarlet highlights on silvery gray fabrics, to ombre effects, geometric patterns, and soft layering. The collection is all about a new femininity. It introduces a strong and powerful woman, which is also very sensual and highly sophisticated. The new makeup look, inspired by the Fil Rouge collection, revolves around a softly pearly gray eye, and a pinky fresh summer complexion, accentuated by a pinkish blush.

Since the Spring Summer 2015 season, Giorgio Armani Beauty is making the products formulated by the Armani Runway Lab, a tool designed for use backstage at Giorgio Armani fashion shows, available to its customers. While the original Armani Runway Lab - comprising a range of colorful pigments and bases - enables Linda Cantello to create colors and textures live and backstage, the ARMANI RUNWAY Spring Summer 2016 Make-up Collection brings four ready-to-use products in exclusive backstage-envisioned shades.

Giorgio Armani Couture Face-and-Eye Palette is a trio of iridescent eyeshadows: pearl, pearl gray, pearl copper. The eyeshadows are combined with a powder blush in a fresh rosy hue that beautifully highlights the cheeks. The palette is delivered in a luxurious silk pouch. €105.00

Giorgio Armani Eye Tint is designed to give your lids a multi-reflections impression. It coats the lids in an anthracite-colored iridescent veil. €32.00

Giorgio Armani Nail Lacquer arrives in a unique scarlet red shade, evocative of the Fil Rouge collection. The shades is named Geranium Red. €30.00.

As Linda Cantello explained, the skin was prepped and primed with Armani’s new Crema Nuda, and High Precision Retouch Concealer. The Luminous Silk Compact was used to set the final look. Eye & Brow Maestro, in shades matching the hair color was used to enhance natural brow, while the lashes were given an unexpected twist with the custom-made red mascara by the ARMANI RUNWAY LAB. In this way, Cantello gave us a sneak peek at the upcoming Eyes To Kill Excess Mascara in shade 4 Rouge Iron. This special red shade is launching in May 2016.
