Givenchy Couture Outlines Makeup Collection for Spring 2018

Here is your first look at Givenchy’s upcoming makeup collection for Spring 2018!

Designed and envisioned by Givenchy’s creative director Nicolas Degen, this quite unusual spring range is said to be inspired by Givenchy’s haute couture creations. Instead of sparkling, sheer, shimmery shades, the collection is filled with muted mattes, with just a little bit of sparkle here and there.

The Couture Outlines collection for Spring 2018 breathes the “Atelier” spirit to Givenchy’s makeup range with the La Couture Atelier Palette. The luxurious black lacquered compact opens to reveal a generously sized mirror and four matte eyeshadows, paired with an innovative sponge applicator. The most interesting selection of shades includes a charcoal black, red, blue, and white – as seen on Givenchy’s fabrics.

Givenchy Mat & Blur Touch Mattifying Stick is another product innovation – a super-fine mattifying powder in a convenient stick format. Use it to blur out imperfections, or retouch makeup so it can last longer. The powder is available in a universally flattering pinky shade that instantly enlivens the complexion.

Givenchy Teint Couture Cushion Glow highlighter is something like a cushion version of Givenchy’s popular Prisme Libre highlighter. Just like its powdery processor, the Teint Couture Cushion Glow combines complementary color-correcting shades to create a natural, unified, fresh finish.

Givenchy Mister Light Glow instant light correcting pen is available in a universally flattering pearly shade, paired with the gold-colored Givenchy Khol Couture Waterproof. These two products can be used to add a bit of highlight to the complexion, to refine and illuminate the look.

Givenchy Gloss Interdit Vinyl will be available in 12 seasonal shades, along with six new shades of  Givenchy Le Rouge Mat.
