Givenchy Je Veux La Lune Collection for Fall 2011
Givenchy just announced their new collection for Fall 2011 – Je Veux La Lune or I Want The Moon driven from the inspiration of nocturnal beauty.
The whole concept of the collection revolves around the idea that “Make up is a game”, as stated by Nicolas Degennes, Artistic Director of Givenchy Le Makeup, and creator of this collection. All the items in this collection are designed to offer you the Moon’s luminous glow, dreamy aura and dark mystic grace. This it is not just another collection of new colors but a whole new fairy-tale which revolves around the subject of dreaming, having your head in the stars, the sense of desire, freedom to dream and dare to wish for the impossible. Here is what the collection includes:
Les Ombre de Lune is an illuminating powder for cheeks, eyes, and skin, paired with an intense eye shadow for a twilight effect. It is available in two palettes:
Lune Mystérieuse n°1, a white and black – suited for paler skin tones, rose undertones.
Lune Mystérieuse n°2 – yellow highlighter and navy eye-shadow - more suited for mid – dark with yellow undertones.
Demesure Mascara – with a completely new brush designed to help you lengthen your eyelashes. It cleverly distributes the formula evenly, as you apply it while being lightweight!
Le Prisme Blush-Glow – sculpturing blush with pearly colors.
Rouge Interdit – lipstick Lune Carmin No. 52, in dark sensual red color.
Gloss Interdit – lip gloss Lune Carmin No. 31 in dark sensual red color.
Gelee d’Interdit – lip gloss Lune Argentee No. 15 in opalescent veil color.
Magic Khol – eye pencil in Marine Blue No. 16 Black with bold blue reflections
All of the items except the Maigc Khol are limited edition products. The collection will become available in Fall 2011.
