Givenchy Les Nuances Glacées Christmas Collection for 2015

The house of Givenchy presents its Christmas Collection for 2015. This year, the holiday makeup range, Les Nuances Glacées, is inspired by the Christmas Day and cold and icy Parisian winter.

Nicolas Degennes, the Creative Director of Givenchy Makeup, describes this utterly frosted collection:  „The jagged edges of the city are smoothed under a unifying blanket of bright white. Life seems to burst from an immaculate backdrop, a carpet of edelweiss with the crystalline light interplaying with an icy pixellation.  The muffled sounds transform into frequencies carrying the murmurs of desire. The quilted softness and biting cold steer the onlooker towards a refuge offering a plethora of temptations. A Parisian tearoom exuding enveloping warmth and the smell of sweet treats...  Indulge in mouthwatering richness with a crisp finish. Natural radiance, the velvety softness of a warm and shiny, almost golden texture. Veiled with luminous white and crowned with a frosted delight.“

Givenchy's Christmas makeup collection for 2015 is slated for launch in October. The range comprises four different products, two of which are limited editions enclosed in exclusive collectible packaging.

Givenchy La Palette Glacée features three iridescent and three matte shades of Givenchy's most luxurious eyeshadows. The iridescent shades - Marron Glacé, Bronze Caramélisé Précieux, Délectation de Blanc Irisé (a top coat) – are formulated with multi-reflective pearlescent particles of different sizes, which results in a deep, three-dimensional effect, intense color payoff, and brilliant shine. The matte shades are Beige Rosé (to be used as a unifier), Essence de Marron, Marron Praliné Onctueux. Both formulations can be used wet or dry, depending on the amount of shine, and color intensity you wish to achieve. £45,00

Givenchy Le Rouge Glacé is a limited edition of Givenchy's iconic Le Rouge. For the holiday season of 2015, Givenchy Le Rouge Glacé comes in a special, collectible case, coated in white. The color of the lipstick is in perfect harmony with the brown tones of the eye makeup. £25,50

Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara is available in a shade in Taupe Glacé, which beautifully complements any of the shades from La Palette Glacée. £45,00

Givenchy Liner Vinyl is available in a shade named Bronze Glacé, which is a delicate bronze with golden glints. This sparkling eyeliner is ideal for glamorous holiday looks. £23,50
