Gucci Beauty Vernis À Ongles

In July 2021, Gucci Beauty launches Vernis À Ongles, a brand-new permanent nail collection available in a rainbow of ten shades. Debuting in Alessandro Michele’s favorite colors, Vernis À Ongles is a brilliant and intense high shine varnish offering up to four days of long-wear, high gloss shine, and yesteryear glamour.

Vernis À Ongles — High-Shine Nail Lacquer

Vibrant, intense, and ultra-shiny, Vernis À Ongles is a polish that smooths out ridges and imperfections on the nail surface while offering high coverage from the first coat. Creating a glossy, glamorous finish, each layer transforms into an ultra-smooth film on contact with the nail and provides a pop of eye-catching color.

The formula and application

Vernis À Ongles is a plant-based nail lacquer, fit with a tailored brush for effortless application. The polish glides onto nails, applying a perfectly smooth film that dries fast and with a long-lasting formula for up to four days.

The design and range

Inspired by vintage nail polish bottles, Vernis À Ongles is designed with a sleek ribbed grip handle, while the pear-shaped clear glass bottle is finished with Gucci lettering in gold. Available in ten shades – Alessandro Michele’s favorites – the collection of vibrant and intense colors cover all bases. The range is perfect for multiple combinations, moods, and moments, from a muted mint green to a deep cobalt blue, blush pink, and Gucci’s emblematic Goldie Red 25*.

The Campaign

The colorful nail lacquers are showcased in campaign images shot by Mark Peckmezian with art direction by Christopher Simmonds. Placed atop a typical silver breakfast tray on a patterned bed cover, the nail polish bottles fit harmoniously into the visual language of the quintessential breakfast in bed scene.
