As described by the brand’s Marketing Manager Lorane Knysz, the brilliance of the whole rainbow transcends the light of any of its parts. Since the light is broken down into the colors of the rainbow, once the colors reunite on your skin, they become pure light. The rainbow concept, featured in the new version of the historical Meteorites, is designed to recreate the appearance of glowing, dewy skin. It comes in uniquely designed packaging, modeled after the historical jewelry box that once belonged to the Queen of France.

Even in its most contemporary rendition, the famous Guerlain’s Meteorites powder pearls remain the same – perfectly round, soft, multicolored, scented with a delicate violet fragrance. The technology behind this cosmetic innovation is inspired by the light that passes through a prism and separates into a spectrum of colors. The colors, once again united, recreate ideal light – a technique used in photography to blur imperfections and soften features.
