Guerlain Summer 2011 Collection: Terra Inca

This is one of the most exciting periods of year when our favorite brands release their new collections. Today we have an honor to present Guerlain’s Terra Inca Summer 2011 collection, which is definitely one of the best ever!

The collection is based on bright and earthy colors, blended in a perfect contrast with blue. The inspiration for the collection is obvious from the first look at the promotional pictures - the land of the Inca's, their gorgeous ornaments and paintings, transferred to your naturally tanned skin and pronounced eyes.

Terra Inca Summer 2011 collection includes Terra Inca Star Powder, nested in a heavy round ebony box. The powder is graced with a sun-shaped ornament, and features three different shades of bronzer. The colors are rather dark and earthy, with a lot of sparkling pigments. Use it simply to illuminate tanned complexion or apply to the décolleté and shoulders to get a nice natural shimmer.

Eyeshadow Terra Indigo is inspired by ancient mural paintings of the Inca culture. Earthen tones revel in different shades of dark and light brown, vibrant orange and striking blue with fine gold spacers. The choice of colors is beautiful and harmonious, accompanied by makeup tips from Guerlain:

Simply chic: apply the light brown tone to the eyelid, layer the orange shade on the upper part, then give more intensity to the eyes by applying the darker brown to the outer corner of the eye.

Trendy: apply the orange shadow to the eyelid fold, sweep a single blue tone over the eyelid and add a small amount of light brown to the outer corner of the eye.

Fiesta Vibe: apply the orange tone to the entire eyelid, add the blue shadow to the eyelid fold, then apply the light brown shade along the lashes and the dark brown shade under the lower lashes. Dressed in a golden glimmer, sea sparkles and sunlight, the eyes are ready to show off a bold look.

Ombre Fusion Cream Eyeshadow is rich creamy eyeshadow that offers a spectacular metallic effect and shimmering luminosity. These thick and finely textured shadows are heavily pigmented and very resistant. Based on the extremely light formula which consists of water in 60%, they are definitely the perfect summer choice designed to resist heat and water. Available in three shades: 01 Bahia, 02 Havana, 03 Maya. You'll get an illuminated effect if you blend it with your fingertips. Otherwise, apply freely to the eyelid using the applicator. The beveled side of the applicator will help you achieve a metallic liner effect.

Terracotta Gloss for lips comes in three vibrant and delicious colors. Neon fuchsia, sunny coral, and flamboyant red will add on-sticky shine to your lips and gently protect them from drying out. Available in three shades: 07 Salsa, 08 Mambo, 09 Tango.
