Herbal Essences is launching its very first premium line. The collection is slated for release in January 2014, and it is named Naked.
Herbal Essences Naked Collection is made from three sub-lines, each designed for one of the major hair care concerns – Volume, Moisture and Shine. The whole collection features 11 different products, and their prices are, on average, nearly 30% higher than the prices of the existing lineup. In the words of April Anslinger, associate marketing director for Herbal Essences and Aussie, the prices are higher because the brand is investing in the fragrance experience. The formulas have an updated minty scent and use the natural tapioca pudding for dry shampoo technology. The dry shampoo formulas are reinvented and now they are creating a fine mist that it doesn’t leave “a concentrated white circle on your head”. In addition to wet and dry shampoos, the collection also includes conditioners and cleansing and styling aids.
As for the fragrance, it is built around the mint note, evoking the freshness of the nature. The mint is combined with citruses, herbs or tea and pear, to ensure the outstanding sensorial experience. What is really great is that these products DO NOT contain ANY Silicon, Parabens or Colorants!
The promotional campaign is starting very shortly, with the “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” on CBS. On Tuesday, the Herbal Essences Naked Collection will be available via presale on Amazon.com, walmart.com, Drugstore.com, target.com and Diapers.com.
