Huda Beauty Launches The Foundation Range

Huda Beauty has just announced the launch of its new #FauxFilter Foundation, as well as two other complexion products: the Complexion Perfection makeup primer and the special Buff Blend Brush. All three products are currently available for preview on Sephora.com, but you won’t be able to purchase them before October 13. It’s Friday the 13th, so mark your calendars and set your alarms, fans!

Huda Kattan’s makeup line is best known for its mesmerizing eyeshadow palettes. It also includes some pretty awesome liquid lipsticks, highlighters, and extravagant lashes, but what was missing were a good foundation and a primer… Until today.

Earlier this year, Huda Kattan announced that she’s working on a new #FauxFilter Foundation, as well as a primer called The Complexion Perfection. The products have finally been revealed, and what we know by now is that the foundation will be available in a range of no less than 30 shades, each expertly formulated to deliver full coverage and an airbrushed finish for a second-skin look. Kattan made sure to take into account the skin tone and undertone when she was creating the shades, so there is the perfect one for every skin tone and ethnicity. In addition, Huda Beauty shade-matched hundreds of people to ensure the final selection is all-inclusive.

Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Foundation is presented in a see-through 1.18 oz/ 35 mL bottle, and it retails for $40.00.

Huda Beauty has also created a Buff Blend Brush to be used with the foundation. The brush is made from high quality synthetic fibers and designed with a semi-slanted flat top to cover the largest possible area while hugging the curves and contours of the face. This brush is described as the ultimate tool to make the foundation application process as easy as possible. The brush is intended for getting maximum coverage, but it is also great for blending, contouring, and buffing. The brush goes for $25.00.

Finally yet importantly, the Complexion Perfection Pre-makeup Base Primer is formulated to give you longer-lasting makeup wear. The silky smooth formula blurs the appearance of fine lines and pores, smoothes the skin for a fresh, flawless makeup look. The formula is infused with skin-loving rosehip oil that moisturizes skin so you can wear it under makeup for the perfect base or on its own for a natural airbrushed look. The primer is priced at $35.00 for a 1.01 oz/ 30 mL tube.
